There is nothing I personally can do to make this world a better place.
I do my very best within my small circle. But as for world peace...until everyone is ready to accept others, listen to the concerns, and learn to tolerate and compromise...we can't do anything.

I think that the ultimate cause of most of the world's problems is overpopulation. There's more demand for scarcer resources - food, water, fuel, energy, space. If I had the power to do so, I would reduce the world birth rate so that the world's population would drop by 1/2 percent every year. That's not enough to cause drastic changes in a single year, but over the course of time, it would significantly ease the population pressure on the earth.

Everyone could donate food to the hungry/homeless. That would be a good thing. I and a farm girl from Iowa but when I saw all the homeless in Chicago which shocked me I wanted to take all of them home with me to feed them. I felt so bad seeing them and all the chicagoins just walked right by like the homeless were wall paper.
