What do you think would happen if time machines were invented and easily manufactured? What kind of laws would be made regulating time travel? (or what kind of laws do you think should be made regulating time travel?) What kind of things would people use time travel for?

Subprime, first I want to thank you for believing the Dems will invent it.

Anyway, to the question, I would go back 60 million years and kill a butterfly, and then come back. If I did not like the results, I would go back in time and stop me from killing the butterfly. Then, if I came back and the sky was not the proper color green, I would go back and kill two butterfly's, and then come back and eat at that fast food chain, Macdoogles, and have a doogle burger.

It is not widespread. Time machines would not be easily manufactured. The last thing we need are more Democrats telling us where to go and what to do... in past or future. Time travel would be used solely to change the course of reality thereby creating an "alternate" reality. What makes you think we aren't living an alternate reality right now?

Well if you can create a time machine, then I'd say you've found the answers to reality. Or found that reality itself is infinite and you can create any number of dimensions/time periods you want. It would be interesting though to say the least. If everyone is "lost in time" no one would exist now!

The world would be a constant changing utter mess, like a bad acid trip.

How do you know it has not happened already, in the future.

If we assume it has, then nothing of consiquence has happed and as far as we know all is fine.
