cant remember what its called, but my dad used to use it all the time when he was working in the garage and everytime i smell it it reminds me. the sound of an electric saw reminds me of my childhood too, my dad would always b out in the garage, while me and my brother played outside....things have gotten so complicated, i wish i could just be a little 6 year old again..

The smell of old wood and freshly cut grass. Sounds strange I know but the smell of old wood reminds me of my Grandpa whose been gone for 6 yrs. now. I still miss him a Lot!!!! Freshly cut grass reminds me of all the late summer evenings my friends and I would play outside.

I had a man come into my work that smelt of sawdust and I told him that I love that smell because it reminds me of my dad. And the guy acted like I had really offended him. So I don't comment anymore.

A soap hospitals use my aunt worked at a hospital and this soap reminds me of her. I do not even know the name just the smell.

Peanut butter - my mother makes the most amazing Hershey kiss peanut butter cookies and everytime I smell the peanut butter it reminds me of when I was younger and she'd bake for the holidays.

Butterscotch. I had a My Little Pony that was named, and smelled like butterscotch, and it always brings me back.

That and the smell of powdered Comet from the days I spent locked in the Linen closet...

i asked this before on my suspended account and oddly i got a bunch of people to say gasoline or the smell of the pumps. there were tons on tumbs up for it and couple of people said it.

anyway, mine is (for what reason, i dont know) the dewy early morning smell.. especially in the fall
