yes itd be safe. sept 24th i gave birth to a baby boy, he was still born. we know nothing can replace him but we want to try again asap. i went to see my doctor a week and a half after and she told me 2 weeks after you give birth ( or miscarry) you ovulate and that would be okay to try then. its best to wait a month but it wouldnt be harmful to try 2 weeks after. my doctor also told me that happens to alot of people losing a baby and they want to try again the next month and it is alright, as long as you feel it is. so you want to wait a month, and your giving your body a month to rest so thats okay.

My sister has had a dead fetus inside her for 9 weeks, the doctor said the baby did not survive past 6 weeks and he called it a blighted ovum...she is scheduled for a DnC next Wednesday...her doctor told her it was safe to start trying as soon as she want and that it should happen very quickly. Depending on how far a long you were, you can get pregnant right after and its okay.

I think they suggest waiting 3 cycles for a 1st trimester loss, and longer the farther along you are.
