Have you had this heppen to you ?
Or rather this isn't my original question..
My question is that I've heard this happens when someone is thinking about you or speaking about you.. Is this what you heard too ?? Have you observed whether it's true or not ?? And finally.. WHY is it the EAR that becomes HOT when someone is THINKING about you ?? All of them just don't make any sense when combined !!
My wild guess is.... there is something in the brain, which is connected to a part of something that is connected with the ear. This 'thing' in the brain is sensitive to special waves.. say..'telepathy waves' and when these waves start to arrive, the 'thing' in the brain starts to react after a passive state. this then affects the 'things' near to that 'brain thing' the main 'other thing' happens to be the ear .........
if you have other wild guesses... just write them down.. or if you have a fancy scientific explanation PLEASE, write it down ...!!!

this is NOT part of my question, but something interesting that I found :
:::This is one of a bunch of ESP expressions -- "I felt as if someone was looking at me" , "the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up", all describing a feeling that many of us have had about being in someone elses' conscious focus. Astounding as it may seem, none of the many scientific experiments have ever proven that this ESP exists and is duplicatable, even though many of us have experienced the phenomenon. Dreams which foretell some impending death in the family or a close friend are in the same league.

It's a folklore thing. If your right ear is burning, someone is saying something good about you. If its the left, someone is saying something bad.
There are others along those lines, like "if your right palm itches, you will be getting money, if its the left, you will be spending money.

I ran a 104 fever on the instant after i ended vomiting. in case you had poisonous ask your self syndrome you will possibly understand. And in case you definitely have faith you do you may desire to head to the healthcare professional because of the fact that's deadly.

Red ears is similar to blushing. Some people blush and it shows on their cheeks , others it's their ears. Fair skinned people are more likely to notice their blushing due to the fact that their blood vessels are closer to the top of their skin.
Abnormal serotonin levels in the body. The person could have a social phobia which makes them blush more easily than others. There are two interesting sites I posted below. Have fun reading.

Although the myth about people talking or thinking about you will cause the ears to tingle or burn has never been proved, there are various medical reasons for this symptom. It is a physical reaction to either medicines, flushing action that affects the ear structure (high blood pressure, etc.) or just some environmental process that attacks the inner ear.

G'day Chris,
Thank you for your answer.
It is a turn of phrase referring to your ears turning red from blushing about something that is being said about you.
It isn't literally true. However, if you want a fancy theory, there was a witch who placed a curse on a young woman so that she could hear all the nasty things that were being said about her and that her ears would turn hot. This is an explanation of the phrases ears are burning and hot gossip as gossip about her turned her ears hot. :>)
