What does romance mean to you? Just a word? A figment of the imagination? Explain and discuss, please.

Romance to me is full of love and lust for the person you're in love with and to be as passionate as possible. That's romance.

Oh! Romance. When I think of romance I think of Neil Young's song he wrote I guess for his wife called You Are Such A Woman. If my husband would write me something like that. Wow! Or Seeing an older man and woman walking together gathering flowers. It doesn't get any better than that. I think all woman want romance, and men usually don't get that. It is so basic I really don't know why they don't. It is much cheaper than some of the things they come up with. Keep your money guys right her a poem, even if it's corny if it comes form your heart she will love it. Or buy the ring or ear rings or necklace and roll the poem up and put it in the box how great would that be.

Figment of the imagination. Movie romance will never come true for me. I'm too ugly so I've givin up. I'm just going to settle for dying alone when with someone.

Romance is a word mixing the meanings of sentiment, rustic, beautiful, and passionate, to me. When I see an old victorian farmouse with woods surrounding it, a cut little garden and a brooke running down the side I think "How romantic!"
People these days take too much to mean just rmantic between a girl ad a boy, etc.... but to me it means much more than that.

Romance is that state of affair where a boy and a girl thought they can not exist without each other; that they were made for each other; they wanted to be at each other's side all the time and that nothing could stop them from pursuing their desires; they both thought that this magic feeling will last forever.
After a couple of unplanned kids, they finally wake up to the reality that they can not live on love alone and the romance suddenly flew away.

Romance to me means thoughtfulness towards your partner...
It means a sense of loving and caring to make your partner believe in you and trust in you for all time..
It is thoughts and actions that show you care...
It sometimes means thinking ahead to help out your love who may need your help and bringing about good memories to bind you together...
Romance is an action that shows you cared enough to do something nice...
