The basic rights of the constitution fly in the face of the modern day liberal doctrine. That's why they appear to be traitors.

The original US constitution seems like a pretty liberal document - do please forgive me if I am wrong but wasn't the whole idea of founding the US to get away from the supposed tyranny of British rule?! Speaking as someone who isn't American and doesn't live in the USA either, I recognise that the USA most definately has the potential to be a force for good in the world. It's just a shame that in the past 30-odd years or so the political agenda seems to have been hijacked by the religious right and their hangers on (i.e. arch conservatives) and you get this at times really rather nauseating polarisation between "liberals" and "conservatives".

yet another paid puppet or purely a fool? i've got spent 2 excursions in Vite Nam and became in contact in Granada and have worked with Vets in the process the VA for some years and have got here upon that there are extra so-observed as Liberals in our protection rigidity than conservatives. And in a majority of those years I somewhat have yet to work out any Liberal who became a traitor. in spite of if, I somewhat have caught (i became CID) fellow American G.I.s stealing weapons from the army and promotion them on the black industry. Of the three men arrested 2 have been registered Republicans.
