note: I can't see cops watching you drive into ontario from quebec with beer? I'm told there is no law but only if you resell it.

There is no border? That's strange-how do you know that you are in Quebec when you buy the beer? I'm in Maryland (US), and based on states, you can be fined by Ontario for bringing in Quebec-purchased beer without paying Ontario taxes.

You are allowed to cross the Quebec/Ontario border with one case. Anything more is concidered smuggling and you can be charged.
