Idea of taking back something given shows , it was not given with love but it was bargain. giving means giving and forgetting its ownership, its source. Giving had happened only to satisfy some Ends and giving was means. someone was to be manipulated by this giving. when the interests are not served we feel hurt. and claim our ownership by asking for that given things for return. Even Love given can not be taken back so it becomes Hate and ends sometimes in divorce or suicide or murder or any sort of sickness.

No, once I give something to that person I don't take it back no matter what it is. I think that's pretty messed up to do. If your giving something to a person you should be giving it to them because you want to. You just don't take back stuff because you have been hurt. That's just life. Give to someone because your doing it from the goodness of your heart and if things happen to go wrong or you are hurt by this person then you know not to give or do anything else for that person anymore.
