Very good, people should not be rewarded for breaking our laws. Every time the amnesty folks think they're about to win,the phones at the Capital Switchboard damn near melt down from the millions calling to oppose this garbage, and thankfully America wins again.

Is this really a victory for Republicans. Last I checked, Dems had the majority. This is good because it gives potential illegals one less reason to come over here. Now we have to start fining people that hire illegals.

Not quite a victory.
The US is one of the last places in the world that grants citizenship to babies born in the country regardless of who the parents are.
We have a ways to go. Defeating the Dream Act did not change existing law.

I think the law is or should be clear. You cannot gain the citizenship unless
1- you are born on US soil
2- you are a legal immigrant and fulfill all the requirements
3- you ask the government for asylum or special consideration and get your citizenship
4- you marry a US citizen and fulfill all the requirements.
Simple as that.

Awesome! This is a victory for all. The compassionate and fair thing to do is for all to follow the same rule. Not just a few.

Good because of the root word there illegal meaning not supposed to be here. yeah its sad they will have to go back to their home country but if they wanna blame someone they should balme their parents for being irresponsible by breaking the law in the first place.

Good. the parents should not bring their kids over here illegally. It is not fair to the people who have to pay thousands and wait years to come here legally. I feel bad for the kids, but their parents made that choice.

It is sound policy. The US has laws to abide by in becoming a legal immigrant and then a citizen. Those who choose not to follow those laws should not be rewarded.

Because they are illegal. No one in the US is in favor of any kind of amnesty for illegals. This was a back door attempt at incremental amnesty.

Even the Mexican wife of an American hero
(fallen in Iraq) is supposed to be extradited.
Shame.
