A and D run contrary to history; we would not have rebelled if those were true. Also, they overlap; it would be hard for one of them to be true without the other.
B reminds me of childhood 'history' mythology, where "evil tyrant" KIng George III was to blame for everything, but when one actually looks at the details, basically all grievances one way or another boiled down to decisions made in London, and local home-rule institutions were being systematically weakened or eliminated.

1st we at the instant are not an empire. 2d the Arabs have been, for a protracted time, the main stepped forward. yet for some reason they appeared to love the 1600's and only stayed there. i do in no way think of the U.S. will fade or something, with a bit of luck we are able to proceed to steer. i'm an American, via the way.
