I have a website and when I type in the title of my website to Google, I have to go to like the 15th page to find my site even though it fits the search terms way better than anything else in the first 15 pages. I've had the site for two months now, and I just don't understand what I can do so that people looking for my site can find it easier.

What you need is called Search Engine Optimisation.
It is a vast field, most of it you can research and do yourself or you can pay others to do it for you or buy software.
For a start, type your URL into this free analyser and you will see how good your meta tags, keywords and description are:

They have a free meta tag generator service too, keep working on it until they are right.
Do you have a sitemap? Try this free service:

Now go to your favourite search engine and ask about: Search Engine Optimisation.

By far the most important thing is to get backlinks from other relevant sites. Heres a few places for an easy start. Look for free classified ads, (many are in sites like myspace, hi 5 etc) one way link directories, leave comments on blogs & forums ect.

Look up 'Meta Tags' on the internet so you can insert the proper and best tags within your html document.

Such as description and keywords are very important.

Also how often 'search bots' should return to your site.

As I said, do a search on ' meta tags ' (without the quotes)

One thing that helps with Google is for other sites to be linking to your site. Get the link placed on other sites like friends or similar topics. If you look in Google's "About" section, they tell you more.
