Did I miss anything important yesterday? (No, we just sat around for the whole class period missing you.)
Do we have homework tonight? (Even if you don't you should be studying.)
I forgot (my homework). (No, you didn't forget. You never botheredto write it down or take it home.)
It's in my locker (or car). (And yet class is in here, has been every day all semester. You knew you needed it for class. Do you see the problem here?)

It really bothers me when African-Americans refer to each other with the "N" word (and of course when anyone else uses that word too).
