Spoof or Not .. This comedy has some merit.
I don't know about you, but it sure seems like both the Democrats and all but one of the Republicans favor this type of interventionism.

Which continent do you mean? North or South America? And which country in one of theese 2 continents called 'America'?
'America' for 'USA' is politically and geographically not correct.

This "mindset" that you are elluding to here
can be tracked directly to an individual named
Paul Wolfowitz --- who -- in the Reagan administration
produced a document -- now known as the "Wolfowitz
Doctrine" -- wherein he states that the USA has the "right"
to "pre-emptively" strike OR invade ANY country that opposes
its views or aligns itself in any way against it !!
This document has taken center stage as a central guiding
instrument in a great deal of the thinking that is IN present day Washington DC circles !!
It is WAY over the edge to what conventional thinking has been in this country since it was formed -- and Drastically different than the views of the Founding Fathers and thousands of remarkable patriots since ---- and an instrument that gives a license to this country's government to wield at will the actions it takes against others --- as a self determined act as opposed to ANY that takes much else into considerations !! It is, at heart, a dangerous document !!

If you haven't watched the movie, I'd recommend it. I love it! It's really crude in parts, but what else can be expected from Trey Parker and Matt Stone. My favorite part is the speech the main character gives at the end.
