The three consecutive even integers are x, x+2, and x+4
The equation is: 5x=3(x+2)+14
which yields x =10, so the first integers is 10, the second is 12 and the third is 14.

Let the integers be n, n+2, n + 4

5 (n) = 14 + 3(n+2)
5n = 14 + 3n + 6
Subract 3n from each side, and combile like terms.
2n = 20
Divide both sides by 2.
n = 10

CHECK THE ANSWER. IS 5 * 10 EQUAL TO 14 + 3*12?

The third integer is n+4 = 10 + 4 = 14

let n be the first integer
then n+2 is the next even integer

eq. 5n - 3(n+2) = 14
5n - 3n - 6 = 14
2n = 20
n = 10

so the third integer is 14

5(x) = 14+ 3(x+2)

5x = 14 + 3x + 6

2x = 20

x = 10

the numbers are 10, 12 and 14
