(7/2p)=5/8-4 = -27/8

* If 7/2 · p = -27/8 --> p=-27/8 : 7/2 = -27/28

* If 7/(2p)= -27/8 --> (2p)/7= -8/27 --> p = -28/27

Subtract 4 from both sides, then add 5/8 to both sides. What you do after that depends on whether it's 7/(2p) or (7/2)p.

7/2p=5/8-4=(5-32)/8
p=2/7*-27/8
p= -54/56= -27/28

28 - 5p + 32p = 0
27p = -28
