I don't think it's wrong as long as they actually fit into the clothes and dress appropriately. Nothing is worse than a 40 something year old woman, even one with a fantastic body, walking around with her boobs and butt hanging out like the 20 year olds (although its not hot on 20 year olds either, haha!).

The Junior's departments sometimes do have very cute things, my mom will even buy things from there because if you have personal style, it doesn't matter (for the most part) where you got it. If you wear graphic tees and miniskirts at 30, then it's time to look elsewhere. Also for many things, the junior's department could have better fits.

As old as bloody possible; you don't pay V.A.T. on Juniors' clothing! Why be shocked! She must have been pretty tiny to have to shop for her clothes in that department, but, doesn't it tell you something? Children at a very, very, young age are being dresssed like little miniture adults - and we wonder why there are so many young girls getting taken advantage of/being raped/abused/molested! It's paedophile heaven! Children should be just that, "children".
It's the school half-term holiday at the moment and I went into town with my mother and daughter (who happens to be nearly 21). I have never seen so many, what is blatently obvious 10 - 11 year old "little girls", dressed in clothes that an 18yr. old would look ok dressed in for a night out clubbing, and wearing more make-up than Boots has to offer!
So, at the end of the day, who is wrong for putting these clothes on the rails for a tiny woman to be buying just because she happens to be small!

Well, there's obviously no rule when it comes to that and there are plenty of women older than that who look like they are wearing their daughter's clothes!
I am 30 years old and have not shopped in the juniors dept for YEARS. For one thing, I don't have a junior-shaped body anymore and I don't think anyone would like to see my butt falling out of my pants. I'm not in denial; I know what flatters me and what looks horrible!
But there comes a time in every woman's life where she needs to accept the fact that she is not a teenager anymore (nor should she want to be). For some women, that time comes around age 60 :)

I dont think there is an age. Junior clothes are a lot cheaper. The other day, I saw a jacket and I got it. Then I say the exact same one in the adult bit, but it was more expensive. Also, if they fit, what's the problem?

well this depends on what she was buying, there are a lot of things in the juniors department that would make an older woman look like she tried to and couldn't . Age has a way of making some styles look very foolish on people.

Its a matter of size, not age. Small people need small clothing and they might have to go to the Junior section. Just like how some kids who are typical Junior age might be too big for most of the clothes there and have to go elsewhere. Anyway, what are they going to do, not let her purchase them?

It depends on her body. If she fit in it and it looked normal on her, the fact that it's in the Junior's department shouldn't make a difference. If she doesn't fit into the clothing well and looks foolish in the clothes, she might just be wearing to make herself feel younger; although she doesn't look it.

I see nothing wrong with it especially if you have a small stature and have to.I don't know there really is an age limit IMO.I know i'm 26 and still shop in the junior section. My grandmother is 67 and shes tiny and she wears a size 1 , which you can only get in the juniors section..

Well it depends, some woman are small and the junior fit a lot better. It dpends on what she is buying. I mean you can tell what stuff is going to look way too young on her and what stuff will look just fine on her. I mean i have seen some stuff in the junior department that look like stuff older woman wear.
