I just finished my 1st round of CLOMID about a week and a half ago. I have been trying to monitor my CM to see if when I was ovulating, and also doing daily OPKs. Yesterday and the day before my CM was a milky white, abundant, and stretchy...but the OPK came back negitive. My husband had sex both days...just in case (and just for fun) :o)

But in your experience, are these kits pretty accurate or not?

They are not 100% accurate. Clomid can mess with your symptoms and throw off opks sometimes. I got about 13 postive opks this month while on Clomid but I know I wasn't ovulating the whole time because I also chart my temps. I recommend you start doing that as well. Read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It will help you out a lot with charting.
Best wishes ttc!!!!!!!!!!!

They are genereally pretty acyrate, but keep in mind you do get fertile CM sometimes 4-5 days prior to ovulation.

Also there are some cases when your body will try to ovulate but for some reason fail and your body will keep trying until you do so in these cases you could get numerous positives without ovulating at all. SO best to use OPK's check your CM and temp too that way you have more info to go on.

Good Luck

I had to take the test 2x a day to catch my LH surge because my surge is very short. Your fertile CM usually starts a few days before you ovulate, so you may get a positive today or tomorrow if you are seeing the fertile CM.

They never worked right for me! I'd see the EWCM and still get negatives. I conecived the month I stopped using those suckers.
