Yes, it could be too early to tell. Remember, you can get false negatives, but not false positives.
Do you have other symptoms of pregnancy? Breast swelling and/or tenderness? cramp-like pain in lower abdomen, nausea, tiredness?

Relax, some tests take more time. Your hormone levels may not be high enough for the test to pick up on. Wait 5 more days. If the test is still negative then, no, you are probably not pregnant........ The stress of waiting and anticipating the blessing can cause your period to be late.Relax, you'll know soon enough. 9 months is a long time to wait.

It could be the stress of being late that is causing you to be late (double edged sword). It is not too early and if you are really worried, a trip to your doctor for a blood test will make you feel better

It's not to early to tell because you're 8 days late. If you're pregnant you are around 4-6 weeks. Visit your doctor.

How old are you? Is your period always regular? Are you going through a stressful time?!
I believe you need to wait at least 10 days to take the test. If you still don't have your period in the next few days, take the test again. If it's still negative, talk to your Dr and have them give you a pregnancy test then you can talk about your options if need be.

That would make you about 5 weeks pregnant, and a test would definitely be posiitve by now, as your levels would be over 1000, and the least sensitive test only needs then to be at 100. You probably just ovulated later in this cycle which would make your peirod come at a later date.

8 days late is plenty of time...you should be able to get an accurate reading but since you still haven't gotten your period you may want to have a blood test done to be sure. urine tests don't alwasy work for everyone!

8 days seems like awhile. Have you changed your eating habits? That could be a cause. I would call your doctor to see what is happening.
