I need a reccomendation for a movie to rent tonight. Our little dinky movie rental store is not big, so if it's a more commonly found movie, so much the better.

Here's what I'm looking for. Some kind of a thriller. I REALLY wanted to see this movie I caught a year or so on Sunday afternoon TV. It's about a woman who has trouble getting pregnant, but she does get pregnant, and this other infertile (and psyco) couple kidnap her, fake her death, and plan to keep her until she has the baby and then take her baby. It was kinda suspenseful.. you know..like someone living through a nightmare situation.. BUt unfortunately none of the video stores around have it. :( It's called Hide and Seek made about 2000 lead actress Darryl Hannah. IT's not the HIde and SEek with the little girl.... different movie.

Anyway anyone have any thriller kinda movies (real-life situations.. not supernatural stuff).. that you think I might like.

I also like movies like Eye for an Eye, A Time to Kill..

I prefer something Rated PG13 or less. I don't care for too much cussing, and R rating seems to be an excuse to use the "F" word every other sentence.. I can do without that...

Nothing with too much gore

A serial killer story or suspenseful murder mystery would be good, but nothing too gory or sick...

MINDHUNTERS: Sequestered on a remote island, a training program for a nefarious FBI division called the Mindhunters is in full swing. These handpicked agents are an advanced psychological profiling group adept at cornering serial killers. But when it's discovered that one of the agents is actually a serial killer ready to strike, will the remaining six agents be able to finger the killer in time? Stars Val Kilmer, LL Cool J and Christian Slater.

Its Rated R, but I love that movie. It also has that lady that plays on Cold Case on CBS.

Try Johhny Depp in "Nick of Time" ... a "real time" movie. Very good! Another couple good thriller/suspense movies are:
"Hush" -- you might REALLY like this one based on the plot you listed with Darryl Hannah
"Dead Calm" -- some swearing ... but overall great!
"Dead Again" -- a cool movie about current lives/past lives
"Copycat" -- again, some swearing ... but not excessively so
"Along Came A Spider" and "Kiss the Girls" were both based on James Patterson novels
"Sixth Sense"
"Enemy of the State"
"Deceived"
"Flightplan"
"Red Eye"
"Phone Booth"

Happy watching!! :)

"Malice" is good. I don't know the rating, but it's not gory and it doesn't have a lot of swearing.
It's about a woman (Nicole Kidman) and her husband (Bill Pullman) who are trying to conceive. She has a female emergency and needs to have emergency surgery (one of the Baldwins is the doctor).
Come to find out, her ovaries were removed w/o consulting her husband and the doctor had a few drinks before the operation. The couple wants to sue - they have a legitimate case....but the twists start coming when it seems like it was all planned with Kidman and Baldwin. Then it looks like Pullman and the hospital are in cahoots. The movie has you scratching your head big time!

Have you ever seen the The Hand That Rocks THe Cradle? That's movie is pretty good. It's about this couple that hires a nanny. Come to find out, the nanny is not only trying to get their child but the husband too! IT's good! It's alot like Hide and Seek. Here;s a link about it:

Helter Skelter, 2004 version.

Its about Manson and his followers and how they came to be.

Charles Manson's (Jeremy Davies) infamous story is retold in this film based on District Attorney Vincent Bugliosi and Curt Gentry's best-seller. The film follows runaway teen Linda Kasabian (Clea DuVall), who takes up with Manson and his followers. Manson convinces his group that he's an all-powerful clairvoyant, and they eventually start to murder for him. Once the group is arrested, D.A. Bugliosi (Bruno Kirby) must untangle the bizarre events.\

-FYI, try Netflix or Blockbuster online.. since your local movie store doesn't have alot of stuff, sign up for it.

The Saw movies are good but they are pretty gory. Some other good ones are (some aren't that scary, but they are suspenseful): The Departed, Resevoir Dogs, Psycho, Flightplan, Panic Room, The Bourne movies. Hope I helped!

Memento, i recently watched and loved it, kinda hard to get because it sort of starts at the end of the film and plays backwards but its good, real good.
