There seems to be soap in my clothes after a full cycle, and also they are not spun enough to get all the water out of the clothes. There is no filter to clean like on my older machine. What can I do?

Your using too much detergent.

I bought the new ultra Tide and had the same problem with the first load. Just put in less detergent.

1. Use the second rinse option and stop using so much detergent. You are probably using too much detergent.

2. Start adding baking soda to the wash water

3. You may be overstuffing the washer. This is common error made by a lot of people. They think the more they stuff in a washer the more efficient and frugal they are being, when nothing could be further from the truth. Overstuffing the washer with clothes decreases movement of the clothes, which is required in order to get them free of soap or dirt

I have had the same problem too!

Don't over pack the washer, it is better to wash smaller load in the machine in order to wash the clothes better.

And don't use too much soap in the machine either, better to use that first line in the measuring cup that comes with the soap that you buy.

Try a smaller load if you also are not getting the clothes dry enough. Or fill the washer first with soap and water, then add your clothes.

Your washer is not getting into high-speed on the spin cycle. This can be caused by several things. It could be the timer, the clutch, the transmission or the motor. I have used this link

to troubleshoot several appliances and it works very well.

They also sell parts for appliances. However, their prices are a bit high, especially for shipping of small parts.

Try cutting down on how much soap you use. Also, if you notice there is too much soap in the washer, pour in some liquid fabric softener, it will cut the soap down.

Use about half the detergent the box tells you to use. That's usually all you need.

If you have super dirty, stinky laundry, use a full cup of soap and put it through two rinse cycles.

You need to use less soap and turn the rinse cycle on longer.
