I believe after the age of 12 a child can choose which parent they will live with. Your dad may have to seek an attorney though, because I doubt you can just up and move with your mom telling you 'no' You might have to get some sort of documentation on it.
Since your mom is obviously not going for it, talk to your dad more and see if he can help you out.

Not unless you have been emancipated or 18. Until then you are subject to the court's custody and visitation orders. In most states after age 12 a judge may decide to listen to your opinion, but in no state except GA is a judge bound to do as you wish them to do.(If they think you just want to get away from rules or chores, or an equally superficial reason they can ignore your opinion.)
If Mom has custody, Dad wants you to live with him, and you want to as well, you will have to ask Dad to file for custody of you. Then you must abide by what the court decides.
If there are are no custody agreements filed through the court and your parents were married at one point to each other, they each have equal rights to have you live with them so he would be technically correct.
If they were never married, he is very wrong and Mom could get him charged with kidnapping if you move out to his home.
You haven't mentioned these specifics, so that is the best I can offer with the limited information you have said. Bestof luck, and hope this helps.

First, is there a court order, child support, visitation? If they( your parents) have been to court, and had these set, then your father has to file a petition for change of custody. There has to be good reasons for change of custody, not just because you want to. If your father is telling you this and there is a court order, he is filling your head with lies. This isn't something you can just do. There is a process. Why do you want to live with your dad? Has the situation at home gotten bad, are you in danger? IF your parents go back to court, the judge MIGHT listen to your feelings about it. But like I said, if there is a court order, by law you can not just move where you want to, you are a child, it is not up to you.

Yes you can but it has to be done through the courts. Your father would have to patiion for custody of you and then the courts will ask you where you want to live. Once you say your father's they will set the custody papers to state that. Good luck!

I live in Ohio and you can decide where you live at 12 here. There are some circumstances where it is older or younger. I would have your dad consult a lawyer.
