They say someone can have a accident if the toilet light is off. Rubbish they are too lazy and they are asking for a energy bill and power cut!

my parents left the landing light on when i was young, many times i got up in the morning and found concorde in the hall.

I have to have a light on at night, too, .... makes it a lot easier to get around without turning on some terribly brightlight in the room I'm in, if there's a little light from somewhere else.... it IS a safety thing....you ain't paying the bill so why you screamin'?

They are probably leaving the light on for you or a younger sibling. Or maybe they really are leaving it on for safety? Who knows, one of them could harbour a secret fear of the dark!

If a burglar sees a light on in the house it would maybe deter him from breaking in.Parents are only there to protect youfrom harm...Dont knock it

perhaps they leave it on for you?
do you make a habit of missing the toilet in the dark?
maybe they are trying to tell you something?

They could always get a couple of those plug-in night-lights.
Also they won't attract all the moths in through the bathroom window.
I remember a sign at a B&B I was staying at . It was placed above the toilet and it read "We aim to please. Will you aim too please".
