I would first have to say Excalibur, by next year they will have their remodeling complete and their new pool had just opened as well. It is affordable and also close to many other hotels, MGM, NYNY, Tropicana many places to walk to. Excalibur has a monorail connected to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay as well. Many things to see and do at those two hotels. Second would have to be Circus Circus, it is still affordable but not as close as the Excalibur to other hotels or really within walking distance especially with smaller children. It does have the Adventuredome and midway, but Excalibur also has a midway and arcade also. Third I would have to say MGM, it would probably cost more to stay at MGM but it is still a great hotel. Alot really depends on when you are coming in and what it is you want to pay per night. All three hotels from my knowledge do not charge for children under 12 which is good in your situation. I would watch when booking your room, sometimes the hotels charge for children, depending on the hotel. Enjoy your time here, there is alot to do here that is free, check out Vegas4locals.com it has some really good ideas for free things to do with the kids. Hope this helps.

Circus Circus is number one for families. The other would be the Excalibur. All the other's provide little activities or do any catering to kids. The Luxor maybe as a third choice. These are probably the most affordable hotels on the Strip also.

By the way, the Aladdin is now Planet Hollywood Hotel Casion and it never had anything to do with Disney and was not kid friendly.

Honestly, Circus Circus is still your best bet. We just our kids to Vegas last year (ages 12,11,10, 8, 7) and the price was definitely reasonable and there are things right in the hotel for them to do. It's on the strip but not extremely close to the big new hotels. Since you are not renting a car, taxis are wonderful and not as expensive as you think.

Value for money...Excalibur all the way. Fantastic staff, and "Kid friendly". As well, it's within walking distance of "Where the action is". Circus Circus used to be OK...we stayed there four years in a row.....but last year, we noticed that the staff was somewhat "less than pampering". We booked at the Excalibur (where we had stayed 6 years ago) and couldn't be happier with our decision. As well, the price was comparable to the Circus, and their "Players Club" is better than the Circus, when it comes to Comps. Just came back from a week there, and we are definitely going back to the Excalibur next year....or sooner.

After encouraging you to leave the kids home. Vegas is no place for kids. I think it depends on what you plan to do to try and entertain the kids while you are there. Excalibur has an arcade, which you almost have to go thru the casino to get to . Flamingo has a great pool and if you get a room in one of the wings you can keep the kids away from the people handing out escort cards on the streets. Did I mention an encouragement to leave the kids home?

Since I work there, I will say The Venetian. All the rooms are suites, so there will be some privacy if needed. It is right in the middle of the strip and right by the Fashion Show Mall. There are no NICE and CHEAP hotels on the strip.

Circus Circus. It has a amusement park inside it and the rooms are very very reasonably priced. I'm not sure what they have for the younger ones to do, but they are really nice rooms for the price.

I am adding onto one person who suggested Aladdin. Aladdin was recently bought out by Planet Hollywood. =( I've lived here over 20 years, and Circus Circus will always be a personal favorite from my childhood.

There arent really kid friendly hotels, but some hotels like Mandalay Bay, Aladin, Venetian have some activities that children could find fun.
