When I was researching this case I found a lot of pictures on the internet of school functions and parades in Jena. Pictures speak louder than words and those pictures clearly show that there was not the racial divide that liars promoting hate and black crime at the march for the Jena 6 have ranted about. I also found pictures of the ministers meetings. Black and white pastors in a social setting.
I did not see one, not even one, picture of the Jena paster , Moran, that has been coat tailing Al Sharpton. I think he is the one that cooked up the stories.
Moran and the Jena 6 parents are responsible for the lies. It looks like they created the racial stories to scam people out of money. Especially at least three of the Jena 6 parents are driving new cars.
It is typical though. All blacks committing crime and going to jail use the race card and cry racism. Or say the justice system is putting too many blacks in jail.
I have not yet heard one black person ever acknowledge that if black did not commit crimes they would not be going to jail.

I had actually heard some of this prior to the IDIOT March in Jena.
I thought it was strange every body and their dog jumped on this as clear cut racism though they weren't anywhere within a thousand miles of the place.

Obviously as far as Mr. Bell is concerned - he's a thug and I would hope all this attention hasn't given him the idea that gang banging makes him a hero.
You do know that 2 other member of the Jena6 assault were presenters on BET hip hop awards:

Pretty sad to award violent criminals with any thing other than disdain- Maybe if Jena,LA is lucky the trouble makers will just move to somewhere gang banging is more acceptable-

Thanks for sharing that article

While I had investigated the facts behind this case and was aware of some of what this author states, I find the following juxtaposition of facts in his report interesting:

"Police speculate that the motivation for the attack was related to the RACIALLY CHARGED fights that had occurred during the previous weekend." (emphasis added)

"Actually, Jena is a wonderful place to live for both whites and blacks. The media's distortion and outright lies concerning the case have given this rural Louisiana town a label it doesn't deserve."

If the police are acknowledging "racially charged" fights, perhaps Jena isn't as "wonderful" a place to live as even this journalist reports.

As with ALL journalism, I'll take this report with a grain of salt as well.

I had read about the case well in advanced of the media even knowing about it. It was in an article I read in February, I really don't know which ones to believe, but I find it all very interesting.

Yeah, I've tried to read stuff about both sides of the issue. Some of the people on both sides of the issue were on the Dr. Phil show last month and it came out that Mychel Bell had 4 assault CONVICTIONS behind him before he was arrested for this one. But the media was making him out to be some sort of angel, caught in the cross fire. His attorney was on Dr. Phil also and when questioned about Mychel Bells prior assault convictions her exact words were , "That's just kids being kids". Huh????

Very informative...just goes to show you how the Media will jump on a bandwagon (i.e. The Duke 3) without knowing the truth...

That article is about the biggest crock of cow doo doo I've ever read. Of course this guy is defending the white kids at Jena, this author of this article was probably a clansmen himself. This article is like Amenijahad in Iran saying that women have all the rights in the world and Iran is a western-friendly nation. It's just another criminal covering up for other criminals. The kids in Jena 6 should be in trouble, but those kids that hung the nooses should be in Gitmo!
