If you go by the bible it must have been the Jews Harp? Ha Ha. but in all seriousness I think it may have been the horn off an antelope that a cave man blew through after eating the antelope.

The first musician who is mentioned in history was Jubal in the Bible.
Jubal (in Hebrew, Yuval ××Ö¼×Ö¸×), was the son of Lamech and Adah, a brother of Jabal, a descendant of Cain, according to the Bible. The ancestor of all who played the lyre and pipe. See book of Genesis 4:20-21
From this is would appear that the first musical instruments were the lyre and the pipe.
