I know how to do them like this..

1/2 meaning one half
and
4^2 meaning four to the power of two
But I want to know how you do it correctly.
I have seen some people do it on here, and I just would like to know how to do it myself. Thanks.

pcs are tragically unsuited to symbolic mathematics. you should use the / operator for branch (fractions are analogous to branch besides). So, in case you go with to position in writing the dept on your question, you need to write: (-32/40 5) / (40 8/35) to position in writing powers, we use, by convention, the emblem "^". a thanks to bear in mind it is that it really is like slightly arrow to coach the kind after it may be more suitable (as in an exponent). So, 6 to the fifth skill should be: 6^5 wish that enables!

The easiest way is to use the Character Map applet available in Windows operating systems for things like ½ ¾ √ ² ³ ° etc.

Make sure the character set is Unicode.

I'm not sure where the default shortcut for it is in the Start menu. Just search for the program charmap.exe if you can't find it there.
