You stick to the pellets and don't offer any treats. The RES will eat when hungry and learn that that is all you are offering for now.

Variety! Try a little of everything, switch it up. Try live crickets, nightcrawlers (worms) superworms, mealworms, waxworms, minnows, tomato worms, silkworms, phoenix worms. Stay away from krill though, they are saltwater shrimp and contain high amounts of salt, also they are dehydrated, when they come into contact with liquid they expand, that can be detrimantal to your turtle if he ingests enough to make his belly rupture. Go with fresh foods insted...or Can O' Foods, they come in all sorts of varieties, even canned snails, sliders love em!
Hope this helps, good luck!

Don't sweat it. Keep offering a variey of foods, and resist the temptation to feed it more krill 'because he is hungry'.
Try live or frozen/thawed 'fish food'- real krill, shrimp, small fish, insects, worms, etc. Most turtles gobble these.
Personally- I do not like or trust the dried (or freeze-dried) krill, shrimp, etc. (except the 'Can-O-' series of foods). I find that they are low in nutrients, and that most reptiles start eating them like candy.

we have a red eared slider and we get,: HBH TURTLE BITES , they are red and green pellets, and we get : TETRAFAUNA REPTOMIN select-a-food. it has three different things in one container,,mini krill and baby shrimp and mini sticks-their green.. and he loves this selection..he is growing great too. around alabama the HBH is like 10$ for a 18 oz. container- and 4.50$ for the REPTOMIN..also we feed him chinks of meat anytime we eat, chicken hamburger raw hotdogs,..stuff like that..just switch everything up,,he should eat just about anything as long as he has a variety..try different things..he will have his favorite just pay attention to what he likes..whatever you give him, do NOT give him iceberg lettuce..he cannot digest it.. but they love dark rich greens like romaine and broccolli and grapes and banana
