ok, so i was look for hard problems and i completed them all but this one...some1 help!! ok here goes:
"There are 1000 lockers for a new school and there are 1000 students. Each student gets a locker. The first student enters and opens all 1000 lockers. The second student closes the every second locker. The third student rearangges the locker. For example the 3 one was open, he would close it. Vice versa. Which lockers would be open if the procedure continued?"

its pretty simple.... all lockers were opened, then every other one was closed, then they were reversed so every other one would be open, so 500 open 500 closed, starting with closed open closed open....and so on

Don't quite know what you mean by 'if the procedure continued' but....

The first student opens all the lockers. The second closes every second locker, that's every one with an even number. The third student reverses this so after he's been every odd numbered locker would be open and every even numbered one closed.

I would definitely suggest drawing this out to help you solve it. A picture can really help with problems like this. Just start by drawing 10 lockers, so you can see the pattern. Good luck!
