why do some women prefer to date married men and be a home wrecker? I am just wondering because these men are never going to leave there wives so there isnt much commitment there but these "other women" seem to think the man will leave his wife for her and then in the off chance that he does leave his wife the "other" woman no longer wants to be with the man now that he is no longer married. someone please explain this to me? is it just the thrill of the chase or what that makes some single women only date married men?

Some women are afraid of committment. They admire it in others and seem to be attracted to those who can exhibit the quality (by committing to marriage) but are unwilling to accept the responsibility once they have the oportunity to partake. Some just are turned on by "forbidden fruit" . And admit it, there will always be the sluts that think that it is to thier advantage to be the clean up woman. All the advantages and none of the dirty little details.

Maybe these women dont want to settle down either, so this way they are picking a safe, realistically unavailable man they will never have to truly commit to. Some women probably are just home wreckers and have a personal vendetta but some are just looking for love in the wrong places. I dated a man and then found out he was married. There were no signs he was married, no ring, no phone calls from the wife or vice versa. He slept over and I never questioned not going to his house b/c he lived 45 mins away from the city we worked in. By the time I found out, I was in love with him but knew I had to break it off since it would go nowhere.. You can never know what people's motivations are, ESPECIALLY around love!

Some single women go after married men because a person always wants what they can't have. They are drawn to a married man because they assume he is a great catch...otherwise he wouldn't be married, right? To some it is a turn on to be with a married man......knowing that he is cheating on someone and that he could be gettin' it from his wife but is instead gettin' it from you. Home wreckers thrive on the fact that they could be destroying a good relationship. And when that man becomes divorced she will no longer want him because there is no challenge anymore no competition

Some women think that if they be with a married man then the man will leave his wife for them and marry them, but it don't work like that. They will leave you alone and stay with the wife. Then the women will be sitting there looking crazy. Just becuase he married the woman don't mean he will marry you.

I heard a quote once from a woman in this situation. She said, "I don't want a man to take care of me, I want a man to want me"! Some women are just really into sex and have low self esteem due to childhood/daddy issues so they don't think they deserve a man of their own. Married men also give them great sex without the pressure to commit.

Yes I always know when he's cheating but doesn't seem to notice that I'm doing it aswell I play the innocent wife who knows her hubby is cheating! Sure I've been with a married man it was perfect he never called or bothered me and kept it quiet the sex was great he would complain about his wife a lot then when things went well for him he wld dissapear but I cld care a less I had a hubby at home who's a loser and the sex was horrible! Whoever he's with best to them marriage sucks!

There are many fears in the human heart - one of them is the fear of success.
Some women (and some men) choose mates that are unavailable because they really don't want the relationship to work out.
After all, if it works out there are a whole lot of expectations they will have to live up to.
Cheating is easy, relatively uncomplicated and can be ended quickly.
But it is usually done by people who have a low opinion of them self, and who fear having a relationship actually 'work out'.

A friend of mine preferred married men...For her, it was the safest thing, as she never had to change her life style and adjust to a husband. She was always the alluring "other woman"; never had to cook regularly; do the budget; economize to cope with his spending; didn't have to entertain his friends or company's employees/bosses; --and a myiad other advantages--in her mind. She well knew--and didn't WANT him to leave his wife! These advantages fit her to a "T".
