Ok I just had a baby 2months ago, recently made love for the 1st time with my hubby since baby arrived, a couple days ago I was looking at myself "down there" wondering what I look like now that I delivered a baby (which by the way was 100% natural) I see a little chunk of meat not sticking out but peeking out from my vagina starting at the top inside the opening, is this normal? I asked question about this yesterday and I was told it was some kind of uterine prolapse but nothing is hanging out its just a little piece of meat peeking......is this normal? Or am I still healing down there, I have very little hardly any pain/ache in my perineal area (where I got my stitches) but my main/most concern is the little piece/chunk of meat that is peeking out of there....it doesnt hurt or bother me...Answers please

It could be the way they stitched you back up. Speak to your health visitor when you see her next.

I really doubt that you have a uterine prolapse. If the skin you are talking about is in the same place as your stitches were then things just may have healed up differently. I'm assuming your doctor didn't notice it at your 6 week pp check, so it must be fairly small. I personally wouldn't worry about it, since it is not bothering you, but you could have you doctor check it just to make sure

Maybe that's just the way it healed? I THINK if it were prolapse or something it would hurt or bother you. If you are really concerned about it you should call your OB/GYN to make sure. Is this piece like attached to the vaginal wall or is it a loose piece hanging in the middle?

Please go see your doctor.
You could have a uterine prolapse [ droops down into vagina, so cervix sticks out ];
a bladder prolapse [ falls 'down into' vagina, affecting ability to hold urine ]; or
a rectal prolapse [ affects bowel control ].
Meanwhile; do KEGEL exercise. These are the muscles in your perineum [ bottom ] that control bladder, vagina, and bowel control.
Squeeze rectal muscles for a slow count of ten, then vaginal muscles, then urethra [ bladder outlet ] for a count of ten.
Do not use abdominal or butt cheek muscles.
Do 3 sets of ten each [ at least ] every day.
Still. GO SEE the DOCTOR!

Sometimes, you do change shape a little. This may be nothing. You should have had a 6 week checkup, if you didn't time to get one..if you did and this was not there at that time then you need another appointment. If it was there, and the doc didn't see it as a problem I wouldn't worry.

It's not uncommon or not normal... there are a lot of girls who have their inner lips longer than their outter lips. It's just MORE common for girls to not have it. It's only a problem if they are hanging extremely low, and causing discomfort. Don't worry about it! Guys will still like you! :)

I had a bump "down there" at my checkup after my first and it was part of the uterine wall collasping.
Dr told me to do my Kegels to strengthen back up.

It may not be anything but you may want to go see your doctor just to be on the safe side. Better safe than sorry.
