Even if I got violations for harmless questions of mine, some even to the extend of simply "dumb", I've found some very nice people and yes, there are also the trolls, but those few people, those who are so nice, who stop by my questions, and you know who you are, are so much more important! Yes, I've met several as well. There for a while when I was getting violations everyday I was going to give up, but I stay for my friends! And yes there are a few I do consider to be friends not just contacts:-)

I was 4 or 5. From eaves-dropping on grown-up conversations, I knew a war was being fought in Korea. Somehow I learned that Korea was on the other side of the world and that when it was day here, it was night there. The image my mind created of men at war against a bleak, bomb-ravaged backdrop in perpetual darkness remains as vivid today as when I first envisioned it.

A lot of them have, and the greatest feeling in the world is to have someone ask a question that is extremely important to them if no one else, be able to give them an answer that you hope will help them, and then get a simple thank you in return!!

Despite all the insults and provokations by some trolls, I have met some great people here. I am so glad that I met them. Now I know I have great friends, friends that I can rely on, in some parts of the world. They know who they are :)

Well, my contacts touch my heart all the time, but one moment I had was brought on by a young woman from Greece named Kicky. One of my fellow contacts was having a MAJOR upcoming surgery, and she helped me spread the word about my contact to wish her well and for a speedy recovery. That made me feel so good!!

There are a lot of wonderful people here on Y/A. I believe we are a family, even though there are the obvious exceptions that you named. But, yes..there are a few people on here that have touched my heart deeply & they know who they are...I love you all!♥
