I do not study poetry nor ever have and can't think of a reason why it has to be so complicated and broken down into "kinds of poetry?"
With what you know of my writing, what would you say I write?
Seriouly, I just write what ever comes to mind, never thought twice about it...
(I'm looking into some submissions and they are excepting " http://www.barefootmuse.com/guidelines.htm " at this time only I have to find out what all "that" means LOL

You write some funny poems: HUMORIST
You write some really dark poems: DARK POET
You write pretty love words: ROMANTIC POET
You write true to life poems: REALIST
Need I go on, you fit no single category. I would have to class you as POET EXTRAORDINAIRE!

You don't need a classification---and anyone who thinks you do, really has no idea what poetry is about!
I say you are just a beautiful writer with a unique way of twisting and scrambling words into poetry.

That's hard to say. You just seem to have a very modern free verse style. So, for barefoot muse they probably wouldn't go for your style--they want more traditional poems. Honestly their loss.
