Do i really have to read the whole damn manual? ITS 152 PAGES LONG.

Will this effect my permit or license or anything?

Thanks alot yahoo answers. According to all the permit test questions ever asked its THE EASIEST THING N THE WORLD. Oh, its just common sense. Just wuestions like, what do you do at a red light.

WELL COMMON SENSE doesnt tell me what class license i need to have to drive a 11,000 pound vehicle, or wether or not cops are exempt from wearing seat belts (so they ARE above the law)

When I took my permit test (I'm 26 now) I remember there being the most un-driver related questions ever on the test.

But the majority of the questions on the test are driver related. Things like:

What do you do when you approach a vehicle in the dark with it's hazard lights on?

What's the speed limit in a school zone?

How long will your license be suspended if you get caught drunk driving.

Most of them are fairly easy but there are some that are so far out there you think what the hell does this have to do with driving.

Don't give up.
LOOK----READ THE BOOKKKK!

I had to study for 3 weeks before my test and I passed it the first time. They cant just hand you keys and your on the road. It's a responsibility. Plus, you should know what to do on the road...thats why they want to see if you can pass the permit test. Try again. Good luck.

Ok so you are not responsible enough to read material that will help you get your license. Instead you just expect the state to hand one over to you no questions asked? Driving is not a right it is an earned responsibility that I suggest you start taking seriously

Common sense would tell you that you need to read the book!!! Most of the questions are easy, especially if you have read and understood the material!

Quit blaming you failure on others, and take responsibility for your own lack of preparation!!!

Skim the book adn concentrate on teh areas that your instructor talked about. When i took it, alot of the questions were, how many inches should you be away from a curb while parallel parking, how many inches from a railroad track should you be, etc.

It will not effect getting your license in anyway.

You need to study and retake the test. I failed my first time and passed the 2nd time so i bet you can too

Few things will help, 1, read the book. 2, do a search on line for practice tests. them take them all a few time.
The problem with the DMV tests is the way they word the questions.
