i still havent had a period this month came off the pill end of aug got first period around the time i should of ok but this month nothing 8days late now?done ptest clearblue but neg yesterday so i take it am not pregnant?some1 said i should go back on the pill 4 a month r so 2 see if that gets them back on track wat do u think i should do?

It usually takes awhile for your cycle to go back to normal after going off birth control. You can give it some time to return to normal. Or, you can call your doctor to see what he/she recommends.

You should not go back on the pill. If you were pregnant the hormones could affect the baby. It can take 3 months for your cycle to adjust itself after stopping the pill or other hormone therapy. Just take care of yourself, give it a few more days then re-test if you have not started yet. If test is still neg, you could call your dr for a hormone levels test.

I have experienced that my periods are all over after coming off the pill. I FINALLY started my period after making a doctors appointment because I hadn't had one in 8 weeks. I would wait for a little while longer then call a doctor.

Definitely dont go back on the pill otherwise you will never get yourself sorted. Just let your system back to normal by itself if you can. If you are too impatient then you can go to the doctor and he can give you something to bring on your period. Good luck.

it took me six months to get pregnant when i came of the pill , but everyone is differant so it could happen earlier .
the best thing is to wait another week or so and see if you come on if not then do another test and see the doctor good luck

Don't go back on the pill! Both times i came off the pill for TTC it took me six months to get my system back on track. persevere and they will eventually settle down on their own, going back on the pill now might mess them up more!

I would give it three months before you look for a normal cycle. It also depends on how regular you were before you went on the pill.
