Before you call me a redneck, I am actually half Hispanic and live in the least redneck Texas city which is El Paso.

Okay, people, be nice. We are all from the same country, after all.
I am a Californian by birth, but i live in Houston, Texas, and have lived in Texas since I was 12. I do have to say maybe CA has better weather and more money, but Texans are salt-of-the-earth people and will give you the shirt off their back if you need it. You will not find this attitude in California as most people are too busy to be bothered with their neighbors.

No, it's a known fact that you Texans are jealous of us rich Californians. You live in El Paso? I feel sorry for you, you might as well live in Juarez, Mexico. The same demographics only Juarez is cheaper.

I'm a soon to be naturalised Brit living in Texas. I've never liked the shallow Californian and Floridian lifestyles.

some are OK but I definately know where you are coming from
they come to Fort Worth after selling their 700,000 two bedroom bungalow and buy a mansion and think they are hot crap but they are still just west coast trash
