I am from Manchester and now live in the States, so I have to be organised, or gifts would never get there. I also have friends in other countries too.
So I have just about all of theirs already and they will be mailed by the end of October.
As for friends here, I tend to make gifts and I am in that process right now. Then I will make a bunch of edible goodies for everyone in the week of Christmas.
My budget is small and I don't really keep a check on it as i do not buy too much.

I love home made gifts they are the ones that have the most love in them but my family all grown prefers to get money so that makes it easy on me. The only ones I have to buy for are my grand children and that is loads of fun! I spend what ever I want on them

Hi Angel,
Christmas every year is getting more and more expensive, so this year I am cutting down a lot. I am just buying for my only niece (she is four) and my mother (my father is dead) my husband, his mother (his father is dead) and a couple of close friends. Every week from now to Christmas I am getting something every week. It saves forking out in one go. You could easily blow a whole weeks wages on one go. So I have set myself a limit. Hopefully I will be able to stick to it. God knows that could change. hahahaha
As long as we have our health that's the main thing. lol
