If you can find someone to lend you a dollar, that'll get you some Ramen. $10 will get you a semester's worth of Ramen.
...I ate a lot of Ramen last year.

bowl of stuff. Get a saucepan, throw in chopped/diced onions if you have any, add a vegan sauce or make one of your own, add vegetables and lentils or chickpeas or beans or barley. Works for whatever kind of food you have. buy some herbs and spices and start a collection, like one or 2 a week until you have some different ones. Do that, and all the fancy recipes are yours to make. yes, they are really cheap but not if you're buying 10 at a time. single ones are a lot cheaper than combo ones.

Go to some of the people that live in your dorm and hang around them. See if any of them have any extra snacks that they are willing to share with you. I'm sure many people have an extra Ramen Noodle that they donate to you. If that doesn't work find a girl that likes you and tell her your situation (don't need to get into all the details) more than likely she will feel sorry for you and either find something for you to eat or donate to your fund.

Find a locally owned restaurant and ask for a manger. Be honest, explain your situation, and ask if you can do something in exchange for a meal. Sweep the floor, clean a bathroom, there's always something to be done in a restaurant. I know if somebody came into my restaurant with your problem I'd be more than willing to help out.

Go to the college cafeteria and tell them your situation. They will let you get a meal on tab.
Go talk to your favorite professor, perhaps he'll invite you over for a meal.
Hang out in a friend's room and see if they have something to share with you.
Go to the rec room and dig in the couch. I am sure you can scrounge up a dollar or two for some Ramen noodles or something.
(((hugs)))

i think if you sign up for tgif restaurant by email / you get a coupon for free appetizer
you could also go to costco / samsclub they usually have demonstrations / you can make a meal sampling . you can go to front desk and get a free pass if you aren't a member to just 'shop". you need not buy anything .
krispy kreme donuts / if the sign is red that means donuts are hot . they give one donut per person away for free. you can go through drive up too. get your free donut.
i'd just borrow a few dollars from a freind til your payday .
food pantries / catholic charities ? they have a food help program. they give away things like pb jelly / breads ... canned ravioli / canned corned beef hash ,

one of the best ways to get free food is mooching. Visit friends and your family. Do favors for both also, that way if y'all go out to eat you can bring it up casually that you did the certain something for them and you don't have your money with you. That way your not really mooching, just evening the "debt", lol. this is helping me through college, good luck!

Depending on where your at, there are places that have free samples. Something to try is to go to a deli at a grocery store and ask to sample a couple things. it won't be a lot, but at least it's something.

"Free deals" may be free to you but they are paid for by hard working citizens. If you are physically able, then find employment like every other college kid that needs money but can't find it from their parents. Or seek financial aid.
