Your use of the phrase "Chosen method" implies a misguided belief that some concious entity OUTSIDE of reality and the laws of physics "chose" how to do things, and that thee were "options". Quit trying to shove religion around science, it does NOT fit. Science is empirical, relies on proof, religion is based on beliefs that neither have, nor require, proof. Believe what you will, but quit trying to shape science to fit your beliefs.

Hey, hey, hey... one question at a time! :)
The Big Bang theory was derived at by following the path of the cosmos, using mathematical formulas that agree with general relativity and realizing that everything is expanding. Background cosmic radiation, red-shifting of stellar light and evidence of primordial elements that could only be formed in high heat, high pressure scenarios like the Big Bang suggest are all evidence for the theory. Working backwards, everything seems to have started from a similar point of origin. The other options include creationism (which could have been accomplished by the BB), and the old native American theory that we are all living on the back of a giant tortoise.
The Ecosystem is not as fragile as the egos of people who try and "protect" it. Our Ecosystem has been here much longer than we have, and will be here until the sun consumes the earth in a few billion years. It is quite balanced, self-correcting, and very robust. If something needs "protecting", it is the viability of human life to keep expanding. In the end, most eco-warriors want the population growth to slow or reverse, by whatever means necessary. They use scare tactics like global warming, climate change and perfect storms to frighten people and politicians into their way of thinking. The end result is reduced economic capacity, a shift of wealth from rich countries to poorer ones, and a resultant reduction in population growth. THAT is the true agenda of Arch-druid Gore and his Dark Green ilk. Believe it.

Well, God being who he is, could have put it all together in any way he chose. But something very many of us have noticed these last hundred years is God doesn't do magic tricks.
Before the Bang there were no dimensions. Not even time.
God was wanting a way to create something out of nothing hence the Big Bang. He knew this would require 13.5 billion years but so what. God doesn't live in the dimension of time.
You, Me, Everybody who ever lived or will live owe our physical existence directly to God. Our spiritual existence is another story all together.
God does all things in well thought out logical ways. Do you ever look at pictures of our universe? There's your miracle! Sometimes those pictures leave me awestruck and breathless. So yes, a Big Bang would have solved the problem perfectly!

We may never know WHY the Big Bang was the choosen beginning of all things. I do not think there were any options.
The ecosystem is sensitive because it is constant balance.

It was the easiest way to explain "we have no f'n idea how the universe was created". As for other options, no. None that I know of. Anything else would just be philosophical. The big bang is just a way to describe "the beginning of the universe" where all galaxies/elements appear to coalesce.

I'm guessing it was, and is definitive proof that God is really male. A female God would have chosen a method of starting up the Universe that wasn't so loud and startling. Probably would have involved singing and hugging... As to why the ecosystem is so sensitive, well, that's God's feminine side coming out.

It appears to have been the only option. As far as the ecosystem being "sensitive", you need to explain what you mean by that. From where I sit, it appears remarkably flexible and tolerant - to a point - of human stupidity.
