My room-mate's cat knocked my African violet on the floor and broke the plant right off. The Root is still ok I think and I've been watering it like usual but it's been a couple weeks and there's still nothing happening. any ideas for me to try?

Just keep caring for it as usual. I once got an African Violet that looked completely dead. I saw one small spot of green at the bottom. I took it home and began watering and feeding it. I have had several plants come from that original plant. Even found that when a leaf is covered in dirt and watered it will create another plant. But if you continue to care for your plant it should come back. Good luck!

you would be able to desire to verify to get rid of as plenty foliage as roots to maintain the plant in stability. as quickly as you have performed that verify to maintain the roots merely moist sufficient to maintain from wilting and flow it to a extremely dimmer spot until you spot new leaves advance. Then handle it always Root rot is a fungus that develops in over moist soil and can merely be killed via dryness.

Agree with Wanna. AV's like to be watered from the bottom.
