We all know that water is H2O, so why cant we manufacture it?

If there was so much water around as some of you are stating, why do they have droughts in certain parts of the world, that destroy crops. when if they could manufacture water, they would be OK. They also have hose pipe bans ect. which they would not need to impose if there was enough water, So NO there is not plenty!!!!

I will guess....the instability of the elements when separated, but i dunno

There is no need to make it, there is so much available, closest to where we might try to "make" water is condense the steam. Water can be made from any combustion rxn.

we can make water by burning hydrogen in oxygen and many other methods.. however it is unnecessary as there is so much water about us already. it can be easily purified and used.
