If the universe is not eternal and could not have created itself, then the only remaining alternative is that the universe was created by something or Someone. This would have to be a transcendent, eternal, self-existing being.
Someone may argue, “If the universe needs a cause, then why doesn’t God need a cause; who created God?” The answer is, everything that has a beginning has a cause; God, unlike the universe, did not have a beginning. Time is linked to matter and space (as we can see from Einstein’s general relativity). If God created the universe, then He created time along with matter and space. If God created time, then He is outside of time and doesn’t need a beginning.
What is more absurd, to believe that God Created everything out of nothing or that nothing turned itself into everything? The fact is, we live in a Universe that is an effect. There must be a preceding and adequate cause for it. The only thing that makes sense is a Creator who is more powerful than anything we can imagine.

You're right about TIME (The gap between a beginning and the end). Now, when did TIME begin? Was it when our universe was created or with the idea concepted in God's mind?
Regarding Evolution. I began my evolution with the fusion of genes when Mom and Dad copulated. From a teeny cell in my mother's womb, I was protected and nourished through birth to become who /what I evolved into today.
Bible claims Adam and Eve were created in the likeness of their Creator--GOD. God is a spirit. I am not a spirit. I am a physical person in a physical universe that radiates out from me eternally--has no end. I concluded there are two co-existing universes. My contemporary physical universe and the spiritual Universe awaiting me when time for me to leave here. Evolution is not an enigma. It is a process, a path humans travel in preparation for Life beyond the present. What awaits us on the other side determines how we live here. We'll save that for another time.

this can be resolved, but in order for that to happen you have to abandon one of the most foundational ideas of our thinking all together-- duality. the only differences which exist are in individual perception. Time does not exist except only as an illusion paired with the illusion of separation (or space if you will..). Separation inherently creates difference. Difference leads to interaction. Interaction is the forerunner of the physical game of cause and effect. Cause and effect cannot play out without a progression of "states of difference", and this progression of differing differences is what we label "time". However, if there was never separation, how can there be difference? How can there be interaction? how can there even be cause and effect? what need for time would we have without cause and effect?
when you ask why not just one "entity" exists, you are closer than you think to the answer. we exist in this way which we are perceiving because of our most fundamental belief which spans beyond physicality and beyond time itself: we believe ourselves to be individuals which are separate from each other and the world around us. if we simply allow this belief to be seen as an assumption and not as an ultimate truth, we become open to the possibility that there is only one Thing in all of existence and that we are a small portion of that one thing having a psychotic episode of individuality.
this is at least how ive come to understand time through lots of thought and meditation... who knows though, maybe im just the one having the psychotic episode :)

Ok..think about this one. Is it possible that time extends and is self perpetuating to the point of infinite. Example 0, 0.91 (whatever), 0.99, 0.999999999 to the so-called infinite etc. BUT(!) at some point in time it reaches 1, then 1.01, 1.999 etc. At some point it must and will continue beyond the infinite there in lies time, space, matter as we know it. It exists within each miniscule increment of our ambiguous existence. It has been said that each extends out to the universe forever expanding and contracting until it collapses on itself, only to repeat itself. An obscure interpretation I know, but it's the best I can do...

Where did the 'god' ending come from. The end of time is 'god' makes no logical sense. Where does it say that time has an end? What if time is eternity...or at least until a black hole gobbles you up....then does time come to an end? In any case, how do you jump to a supernatural deity conclusion?

Do not reduce evoluton int chemical processes, since what causes those processes are reall evolutionary forces.
There is a moving power, force, behind both evolution and time, pushiong both of them forward, and you can call this god if you wish.

time exists in whatever form you choose... where is the ultimate proof for evolution. people for too much confuse evolution for adaptation, they are totally seperate equations. there is no pure proof for evolution, in any sense of its facets.
