Ive seen every post from Greek for Albania.I'm not giving the fault to them because i know that most of the emigrants in Greece kill.There was a problem about albanian are rich.Some of them are but a mercedes in here new one cost under 10.000$.Albanians are nice people with culture and love other countries.We are hospitable 2.If none knows mother tereza was albanian and scanderbeg too.Weve got a great history older than Rome.Greek people got our blood.They were formed by helens and dorians(Albanian tribe).Its not Albania's fault that there are a lot of bad Albanian people all around the world.We were divided from kosova long ago unfairly.W.Woodrow in the Paris peace conference took all our territory and gave it to Greek and Serbians.We don't want another war we only want people understand what we feel like.If u say ur an Albanian everybody would close the chat window only because history has been cruel to us.I'm asking what do you think about us??Btw everybody in here knows 3+languages

Yes, you can say those were hard times and I can accept that. But how can you explain that people who went to Greece peniless and even shoeless in a very short time were the proud owners of new Mercedes's.
Greeks too, went offf as immigrants to many countries, but none of them come back with that luxurious way. And those who did, did not do it in the honest way. Not in such a short time.
I can take it, that most were hard working people, and is given that, they were given the best support by all the Greeks, who were once in the same predicament. Yet, most of your fellow-patriots choose to return the open arms with a back stabbing attitude on account of any crime from petty thiving to mass murder, smuggling and trafficking and any imaginable crime.
Meditate on those simple truths and leave history out of the question. It has nothing to do with present times. Just think in a 100 years from now what the history will have to say for the nowdays Albanians.
If you think, that then, you will be proud of that hisotry, keep the flags flying.

Ive been to Albania - beautiful country, especially the coast, and really freindly and welcoming people. Garbage pickup was clearly a problem though. plastic bags and pop bottles as far as the eye can see!

Greek people have embraced Albanians. There are 1 million Albanians living here and prospering. The reactions against Albanians that you see on the internet are due to the fact that in this forum, in the Greece section, Albanians keep raising claims on Greek territories, oppress the Greek minority in Northern Epirus, and cause a multitude of problems and insults to the country that has given them the opportunity to live like the rest of Europe, while they lived due to the communist regime in a bad state and didn't even have electric ovens or TVs. I am not being a racist, these are facts. Now, if a person loves us, we are the first to love him back. You know, many of the Greek revolution heroes were Arvanites (had an origin of former Albanian immigration), including Bouboulina, Botsaris, etc. But they chose sides and no one could say they were not Greek. Apart from that, no, Dorians were not Albanians, but yes, Albanians are a very ancient people in the area. Never at the top of culture, to be honest, but brave and hard working. However, they often fought for the highest bidder. So this is why we are asking you to choose sides, if you want us to be full-heartedly supportive to you.

I agree with previous post about "back-stabbing attitude". Personally I don't have anything against Albanians, and when you think about that - it's more a regional thing, not just when it comes to Serbs or Greeks.
Nobody took your territory but you tend to take other's.
And I am glad if you are able to speak 3 languages, good for you. We have differrent experience here on Y!A

Albanians are nice only with Albanians. And lately with Uncle Sam's relatives.

As I never heard about 'rich Albanians', I will disagree : rich are only corrupted politicians and mafia members. Other people are at basic level: can provide basic goods for their families to live.

As for culture, Albanians ( living outside Albania ) have their own culture that nobody can deny : mine is mine and yours is also mine. Albanians in Albania keep their culture strictly for themselves, as the rest of the world never heard about it.

Albanian history is developing very quick lately, nobody is able to follow new 'historical' facts coming to light every day. We are learning lately that all South Europeans are of Albanian origin. Great nation, God save us from Albanian genes !

As for speaking 3 languages, well I agree : Albanians can speak Albanian, Gheg and Tosk.

My personal opinion about Albanians: I have met many Albanians and I used to have a few good friends. But they changed their mind about our friendship of more than 30 years old after meeting Uncle Sam and KFC.
