I have an extractor fan in my fully enclosed bathroom and its not oulling the air out. I have checked the ducting for restrictions but it all seems fine- - i think when the door is closed i dont get any inlet air for the extractor to work well enough.
is ther a way i can fit some kind of air inlet into my bathroom through the celing or some place else??

Check the gap between the bottom of the bathroom door and the floor. A 3/4" gap should allow enough air flow for the vent to work properly. If the gap is less you can either cut it off or hire a handyman to if you do not have the skills or tools..

Trimming off the door would be the easiest and least expensive. You could also install a vent over the doorway like is used to allow heating systems to operate more efficiently.

You could shorten the door to allow a space of an inch or two at the bottom.
