When you are measured for a bra the woman who does it will measure you over your clothes and will tell you what size will fit you best. In Britain with the measurements you give you will be about a 34A. A 32B bra would actually have the same cup size but would be tighter around your ribs. I see one person suggested a nearly B. I don't think inbetween sizes like that are available in the UK yet, hopefully they will be soon as I bought some when I was in America and was able to get a much better fit.
The best bra size for you can be affected by the brand of bra or even the style you choose. Once you have been measured and know what a comfortable bra should feel like then you will be able to look around and try other sizes close to yours to find what you like best. If a bra doesn't fit you well it will be uncomfortable. If it is the right size and style for you then it will feel fine. Things like underwires are comfortable for some women and not for others. You just need to try as many styles as you can to find out what you feel best in.
Remember that as you grow your size will change so it's worth going to get measured any time your weight goes up or down by 10lbs just to make sure you have the best fit.
I was embarsssed getting measured at first as well but it's no trouble at all, honest.

You do need to go for a proper measure now and have a good fitted bra you may be a 28B cup but no expert. My daughter always brought a 34C and when i took her to brassimo she turned out to be 26FF!!!!! She felt much more comfy in a proper fitted bra in there they used no tape measure they could just tell by looking at her and she did not have bra off either amazing well trained people in there.

The ladies who work in these places are very good it is all done in a cubicle you do not have to have your mom in there. Some will measure you just as you have done and then go and get the bra's for you to try on. They will make sure it is all comfy too and there are many types of bra to pick from.
I would have a look round store before you go in and see what type you like underwire ect.
Brassimo have most definatly been the best place we have ever tried for measuring and perfect fit.

At a bra fitting, you go to a store that sells bras and a woman takes a measuring tape, and, with your clothes on, wraps it around you and measures you just like you measured yourself. She doesn't touch you, don't worry. Its not that embarrassing.

Bras take a little time to get adjusted to, but they're not uncomfortable. I've been wearing a bra for at least 5 years, (I'm only in high school lol) and I still prefer to pull them over my head, already clasped, than wrap it around myself, clasp, and turn.

From your measurements, you look like you're a 32 Nearly B. I recommend the Playtex half-sizes line, they're really comfy, and are great for pre-teens to women in their 20's, because our breasts are still growing and we do need half sizes.

If you're a ditz like me (lol) and you're not aware (I didn't get it until I was 12 or 13), when you're bra shopping, there's a number and a letter. If you're comparing two sizes and the number is different and the letter is the same, the bra cup size is mostly the same. (The lower the number, the cup will be only slightly smaller.) The lower the number is, the smaller your back and sides are. Mostly, if you're thin, your number will be smaller, but that's not always the case. Example: If you're 13, slim, and a B cup, you'll probably be a 32-34; if you're 40, slim, and a B cup, you'll probably be a 36-38. That's not always the case though; I'm mostly a 36, because my sides, right at and under my breasts, are really wide (accentuated hourglass shape). Everyone is different.

When you try some bras on, you have to make sure that a, your breasts fill the cup entirely, and b, your back, shoulders, sides, and the area right below your breasts are comfortable. If its too tight around your back and sides and you're at the last hook, you need to get a bigger number. If its too tight or loose around your shoulders, just let your mom adjust the straps for you.

Everything will be fine, and you'll get adjusted soon enough. Good luck!

it depends on the shape of the bra, the brand etc. I went to a shop once to buy a bra and the shop assistant gave me different sizes and different styles/brands and after trying about 10 we finally found the perfect fit! it's the same with clothes in general - have you noticed your size differs all the time?

34A or 34AA.

Add 5 to under your bust measurement. If the total was an even number, you would add four. That number (34) is the band size.

You could also get professionally sized, Nordstroms JCPenney or Sears are good places, NOT victoria secret as they size wrong.

I have been told that it is better physically for a girl to wear a bra only if she needs the support; if yours are firm and not floppy you don't need one, except maybe a sports bra for gym, track etc. Bras are quite a recent invention, women 100 years ago did not wear them and in some cultures still don't
