Yes we see one side of the moon from earth everyday beacause of these things
We know that the period of the rotation and the period of revolution of the moon are equal ( both are 27.3 days ) . The time taken by the moon to complete one rotation around its own axis is equal to the time taken by the moon to complete one revolution around the earth. Due to this reason we always see only a half of the spherical surface of the moon.

It goes around Earth once a month and "twirls" on its axis once a month too, so that makes it keep the same side toward Earth. This is not a coincidence. Tidal forces have acted slowly over many millions of years to make the Moon "twirl" at just that speed. The same force is making the rate at which Earth "twirls" (rotates) get slower. That is the reason the world's time services need to add a leap second every so often, to keep the atomic clocks in sync with the slowing rotation rate of Earth.

LOL We on Earth always see the same side of the moon.
Its what is known as being tidally locked. What that means is the orbit of the moon is exactly the same time as the period of its day (spinning on its axis).

This will explain it, but no, it doesnt appear to twirl to us, but it does.

Yes, we only see one side of the moon - which means it "twirls" once every orbit.

The rate of rotation around the earth is the same as the rate of revolution about its axis.
There is a slight "wobble" and actually about 59% ca be seen over a long period.

not QUITE true, but real close.
we see a little more than half the Moon, it has a fun wobble that give us a peek at the edges.
check out the link for a cool video of the Moon wobbling
(libration).
