I take my dog to the local football pitches but always make sure he doesn't poo on the pitch. I have just decided to have him re homed today he is too big for my back garden. He needs a really large play area.

My side yard. I have 1 1/2 acres and she's a medium dog so we have a lot of fun out there playing catch. I throw the ball, she runs after it, I try to catch her to get the ball so I can throw it again. I never said my cocker spaniel was smart, just pretty.

I just head out the back door and into the trees. I don't have to put him on a leash he can just run and run. It's great. I live in the Canadian North - lots of wide open spaces.

My dogs get their exercise by swimming and walking, we have our own pool so they don't bother anyone and we walk a mile or so in our neighborhood everyday.
