I was watching an interview with Patrick Kane the other night, and he was talking about growing up and watching Hockey Night in Canada on the CBC. He's not Canadian though, so I thought hockey would be broadcasted on an American network. Plus I'm moving to the States soon, so if I can watch Hockey Night in Canada there, woohoo! I don't know what I will do if I can't enjoy Don Cherry's insanity and *conservative* apparel every Saturday. :(

I live in Buffalo, CBC is apart of our cable programming since the border is litterally 2 minutes from downtown.
So yes, we get CBC and we STILL are one of the highest rated markets for US coverage of hockey, even when we have CBC to watch instead.
Last Stanley Cup Finals...ratings in Buffalo were higher then LA, where were the Ducks fans? We werent even in the games!

CBC from way back, FSN Detroit w/ Ken Daniels (former CBC guy) and Mickey Redmond/Larry Murphy. Comcast Sports Net in Chicago with Pat Foley, you could leave Ed behind however. I don't receive TSN or Rogers, I do have NHL Center Ice however. Edit: I do get TSN on rare occasion when games are covered on NHL Network. Otherwise I would miss the Red Wings take game 5 back home Sunday at 2pm!

In Southern California and in South Florida, there is no CBC. Maybe if you get a special sattelite package. I miss watching Hockey Night in Canada.

It all depends on what part of the US you live in. I go to college in upstate NY, north of Watertown and the Thousand Islands and we get CBC here as part of the campus' cable plan. Being able to watch Hockey Night in Canada is great when my Sabres play a Canadian team or when my friend who graduate last year and I used to get together to watch his beloved Habs.

I lived in Buffalo, and like was said earlier cbc is available on basic cable. I had a friend in Detroit who said he picked up CBC on his rabbit ears. Detroit is decidedly closer to a Canadian city(windsor) than Buffalo is. I am not going to ask why you want to leave Canada because that is your business. However I moved here after living all OVER the USA(born and raised in southern va) and I cannot believe how great this country is and I do not see myself EVER setting foot back in the USA again.

I live in way upstate NY and get the CBC on one of my cable channels so I get to see the games each Saturday night. I guess it depends on where your moving to and whether the CBC is carried by that provider. Hopefully they do.

Patrick Kane grew up in Buffalo......CBC is on basic cable there. In fact, I believe CBC is on basic cable in most US border cities.
Poor kid grew up watching the Leafs...how sad!
Just so you know, CBC is NOT available on cable in Chicago - you need a dish (I have Direct TV on my Chicago home - much superior to the Bell ExpressVu on my Toronto home)

If you live near the border, you can watch the CBC. I live in Detroit and I've been watching HNIC my entire life.
