the final thank you to do this's with a diluted isopropyl alcohol answer made up of water and at maximum 50% isopropyl alcohol. you are able to the two combination your person or purchase a premixed cleansing answer (generally blended to 30% concentration) from a working laptop or laptop keep. to observe the answer, use an rather, very delicate fabric, which includes slightly bit delicate flannel or a synthetic microfiber textile, and wipe the demonstrate screen gently: too plenty tension could reason the demonstrate screen to crack or warp. you need to use this cleansing approach as generally as mandatory. in no way use the different cleaners, extraordinarily people who contain ammonia, which includes glass cleaners. Ammonia can injury an liquid crystal demonstrate demonstrate screen and bypass away it looking cloudy. additionally sidestep paper towels, when you consider that they could quite scratch an liquid crystal demonstrate as they drag airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust and paper debris over the exterior of the demonstrate screen; that's why it is so important to apply the softest fabric you are able to. click on the source rfile link under for a complete clarification:

Hi. Ammonia is probably the worst thing. The folks who said Windex may have tried used both the ammonia version and the ammonia free version. I use ammonia free Windex (as rarely as possible) and it seems to work.

Don't use Windex or any window cleaner. A damp lint-free cloth (such as a t-shirt) will work fine, or the kind of cloth used to clean eyeglasses.

Yes any alcohol based cleaner will make the screen "weep" and will degrade the screen itself. Best to use a damp almost dry cloth on it.

Most people say you should not clean it with a wet cloth only a dry cloth, but what if you have dried milk or spegettios on it?

(mdnsh01, I wish you hadn't phrased your question that way: it made me giggle inside and think of "what you CAN'T use" and think of "honey" and "peanut butter" and "aloe" and "Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castile Soap"!)

We used to use Windex for a small short while on our old (used-to-have) Syncmaster flat-screen, but our techie got on our case about it. Now that *I'm* the techie-of-the-house, we use Monster Screen Clean which contains "de-ionized water and proprietary polymers". (We also use it on our TV.) It goes on the LCD and the plasma screens via lint-free cloth, and seems to work quite well.

the best thing I use cost a little but last a long time. It has a long application life. Go by a eye glass shop and the eye glass cleaner with the special cloth. It works great for me..

good luck..
