Hip Hop dance originally came about to replace fighting on the streets, crews/gangs whatever you want to call them would 'battle' by dancing in a similar way to Rapping.
I resent it being called pretentious, as a white, 'middle class' female I find it invigorating, challenging and fun and surely our children are better off in organised dance classes than hanging around on the streets.
If you dont know the answers dont answer, dont comment on things you dont know about and insult the thousands of people in the country who find Hip Hop dance a valid form of expression.
